We have survived 6 weeks without Daddy around, 5 more weeks to go before he comes home. Its not easy but things are getting better, maybe its because i have come to terms with it that he won't come home till he finishes up his project. Way to go! Countdown!

Toy Story 3

I took the day off and brought the kids together with MIL to watch Toy Story 3. Its also Zenith's first time to the cinema. Well, everything went on well! The story line was very entertaining, the children enjoyed the show together with the pop corn. Zenith was really well behaved throughout, MIL expected him to leave the cinema 1/4 through the show. Well done Zenith!

Its 9.30pm, i have kept myself out of my own room. I flew into a temper leaving them to sleep by their own (in my room). It seems as though i had a fight with my husband, infact its the kids I'm angry with! Its been a month, its tiring and fustrating facing the 2 young ones alone. I have a headache after a whole day with them and they still can't stop.  At the end of the day, i still can't sit back and relax with peace. I don't know how long more i can take this. Its a total SHIT!

Feasting week!

We had a early celebration for Father's Day and we had a very nice dinner at the Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant (T3). Good was great, better than what we had at Bosses Restaurant. We probably ordered too much food this afternoon! After dinner, the kids had their round of fun at the indoor playground where they could take rides! I let each of them take a car ride, each ride lasted for 10 mins. They definitely had lots of fun and they wanted the second round. But mummy said NO! :) Now Zenith's in love with motorbike.

Mark missed out all the good food, i know he doesn't care about dinning but i do missed him driving us around!

Our activities are packed today. We have lunch & dinner appointment today! Mum won 1st prize 4D so she gave us a treat at the Bosses Restaurant (Vivo City). The dim sum weren't too great, mum & sis said because i was the one who ordered :( Their other signature dishes like the fried duck is really good. Its a pity my appetite's not good this afternoon. The kids didn't get to play around after meal as we still had to go back home and rest! We are having our round 2 tonight!

I hit 32 years old & I'm happy to be 32! My birthday evening was celebrated with my usual group of close friends at the Kichi Kichi Express Rotary Hotpot. Cin suggested this place since i wanted to have steamboat tonight and the birthday lady gets 32% discount off total bill, so its quite worth it with the discount!


Cin was so sweet, she baked me a Strawberry Shortcake for my brithday, not only the cake looks good, it tasted nice too! I brought home the rest of the cake for the kid's breakfast, they loved it too! Btw, the kids favourite fruit is strawberry!! Celeste was impressed with the cake, she asked me how Auntie Cindy knows how to bake it? Cause probably mummy doesn't know how to bake one :)


Anyway friends, thanks for the company, pressies & treat last evening. Muacks!

Almost 3 weeks has past, another 8 weeks to go before Mark returns. Isn't it a long time?? I'm starting to feel resentful and frustrated with him working overseas for months. This has been going on for 3 years. I dread this whole thing. DI!

Celeste told me she had a dream last night. She dreamt that Daddy was patting her to sleep.... orgh.. she misses him but yet she doesn't tell me about it. I had dreams about Mark too but they were unsweet  ones :o

Happy Vesak Day

We went to Taste Paradize at Ion for Dim Sum this afternoon, Damian great us a treat :) Other than dim sum, the rest of the dishes seemed pretty unaffordable! Its been awhile since i saw Zac, he looked so macho at 2 months old, he's also kinda grumpy hahah. But he's lovable!

Less photos these days, i have been lazy to bring my bulky camera around. That doesn't mean the kids are doing nothing. Yes, we are going out less now. I have compensated them by bringing them to swim more often. This week they went to swim twice already. As compared to when Daddy's around, we could go anywhere we liked, the kids only went swimming maybe once in two months. Bet they are happy now! Kids get so happy just to hear that they going to swim or rather play water!

Well the fact is, i do miss Mark's labour and companion :) Celeste seems to take it pretty well, she said its ok, Mummy's here. While Zenith just asked why Daddy is taking so long to come back....

The last time while Mark was away, I was busy planning activities for the kids every week. Time flies while we were engaged. This time, tiredness has taken over me. I dont have the energy to go anywhere, besides sending Celeste to her enrichment, we spent the rest of the time at home. I gave them new toys as a form of distraction and brought them to swim. I wish time flies..... there's many more weeks to go...

Celeste said she told all her friends and teachers in school that Daddy is working in Australia. Mummy has money. Daddy has no money, so Daddy has to go Australia to earn money. I thought that was funny!

Mark has reached Sydney, I felt sad last night. He will be back by end July. The whole process of being alone w/o his company starts all over again. Its ok, i have my two beautiful kids with me :)

It only dwells on me last night that Mark is leaving for Australia soon. It’s sad to even imagine the kids will wake up one morning and only realized Daddy has left to work overseas and they won’t get to see him for a few mths.. I’m sure I will miss him since he’s always been my pillar of support. It also means it’s time for ME to PERK UP and be independent once again. It’s lonely time again and I don’t like it.

Sentosa but Raining..

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers out there :p
I was actually feeling unwell since Friday, and not getting any better.  We kept our promise to Celeste to bring her to Sentosa today as we didn't want to disappoint her. Plus i don't know when is the next time i can bring her there because Mark is leaving for Australia again for a few months :( Its back to the lonely times for us at home again... 


The weather was threatening & it started pouring while the Dolphin Show was on. The show had to be cancelled mid time due to the heavy rain and lighting. We were also caught in the rain because we didn't expect to rain! It was so hot when we left the house this morning. Anyway, it was quite fun dodging in the rain... hee.. 


It took awhile before the staff from the Underwater World took turns  to shelter all the visitors from the Dolphin Lagoon to the Underwater world. The children loved the Underwater experience! 


When the kids are happy, I'm happy too! I always felt great that the children get to experience new things everyday while growing up...

Mother's Day Card

Celeste solely designed this Mother's Day Card, her teacher commented she was very creative. It was really sweet to receive the pretty card, the mummy & Celeste inside the card both wore heels and were spotting with matching outfit :)
