This little boy, refused to sleep even though he's sooo sleepy! At one point, he even got angry with himself for falling asleep. Funny little boy!

Doughworkz by PastaMania

Celeste attended the Doughworkz by PastaMania organized by the school. She got to experience hands on in making pizza and get to enjoy the "CHICKEN HAM & MUSHROOM" pizza she made herself. She didn't like pizza in the past, now she says she loves pizza! Pizza making is so much fun!

Celeste's Progress Report

Celeste Meets expectation in the following:

• General Behavior
• Hands in homework on time
• Returns worksheets requiring parents' signature on time
• Pays attention in class
• Mathematics Calculation & Application
• English Grammar and Vocabulary
• English Composition
• English Comprehension (can be more careful)

Approach Expectation 

• Writes neatly and clearly. (Handwriting can be better). She has the tendency to erase and correct, making the sentence v messy.

Personally, i think she is coping in school except that she is extremely careless in her school work, we are constantly reminding her to correct this habit. 

Chinese -> Progress seems good.

Maths -> Has improved but she is still weak in this subject, she doesn't seem to understand the question even after many practices. Somehow you just get boiled when you teach her maths! ha!

English -> Spelling is good but grammar is not as good. She needs more practice.

I'm looking forward to a decent family portrait :-)

Here's one we took ourselves, went for a outdoor shoot today probably done by an amateur, result was not satisfactory, Caleb was not cooperative, its tough to have 5 pairs of eyes looking at the camera and smiling at our best. It was hot and tiring too. In the end, we did not take up their collection. 5 shots seem enough!

Caleb seems OK with Yi Po touching his hair! This happens only after we signed up a package with Curly & Spike, haiz. Hope he gets less fussy as he grows older. 

@ 20 Months

2 more weeks to 20 months, Caleb's vocab is getting better, he can imitate many words that we say, and understands many words that we say too. For an example, when i say, "Caleb please close the cupboard", he will close it. When he dirties his hands, and i say, "Caleb go take a tissue" he repeats after me, "tissue" and he runs and returns with a tissue paper from the dining table. He's trying to form short sentence, like when he sees Mark's slippers, he says " Daddy shoes". He listens well and responds well by nodding his head. He replies "No" more than "yes" at this time, he started learning how to say "ok".

Things that he enjoys doing himself now is feeding himself during meals, and he takes off his own socks and shoes when he returns home. He also knows how to pose for a picture. Here he is with a new shirt that we bought and he could stand there and SMILE...

No More Tu Tu

@ 20 months old, I managed to wean Caleb off his tutu! He obediently took his afternoon nap without it, he didn't throw a tantrum either. He's a very good boy and takes instructions well. I'm proud of him!

9th Aug ( Jae's birthday)

Celebrating Jae's birthday at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, with a fantastic view of the National Day Parade Celebration 2012. The best part is you could shower and enjoy the parade and fireworks at the same time! Caleb didn't want to stop his bath at all! All thanks to Jae that his birthday falls on National Day! Going home was a breeze too, we left just after the Fireworks!

Trying to train Mr C to sleep on his own, and he's listening well...
