Marina Barrage

Its the kids' second time to the Marina Barrage for Picnic ~ and this time joined by Caleb :-)
We managed to catch some National Day Rehearsal Display.

Swimsafer Stage 1 & 2

Celeste passed her first try at SwimSafer Stage 1 & 2, a basic test on their water safety knowledge & and on her water confidence. When Celeste just joined, she was crying away. Today she did it! I'm proud of her, Well Done!

In both stages, she is being tested for
Sculling & Body Orientation, Underwater Skills, Movement & Swimming Strokes, Survival and Activities Skills.

And finally the announcement of results! Everyone passed the basic test!

My reward to her was a small packet of sweet! And she said I'm the best mummy in the world! Hahahah She's a very easily contented gal :)

New Toy

This Little Tikes BBQ Grill set comes free from Huggies for Caleb. His Jie Jie and Gor Gor are playing it first since its still awhile before Caleb can stand and role-play. Celeste has definitely out-grown this set of toys :)

Zenith can firmly hold his pencil, he still needs encouragement reading aloud.

Milestone

Caleb can sit up himself now! I didn't manage to catch him in action though :-))

2011 Primary One Registration Exercise

Time flies, Celeste is going Primary 1 next year, it marks the beginning of her new school life! We have successfully registered her into Anderson Primary School under Phase 2B. It also means Zenith & Caleb can both get into the same school without a fuss. 

Doting Jie Jie

Little Caleb Loves...

Caleb loves playing with his sister & brother;
Loves to babbles and imitate us talk
Loves to play ball games
Loves to go down for his routine walk
Loves everyone in the family :-)

Sleepless Night...

Caleb has not been sleeping well, drinking well and crying alot for the past 3 days. No, he doesn't seem unwell ( at least no fever), no signs of teething yet. In fact, he seems to be throwing tantrums at Rose and his crying may get very persistent. It did came across my mind before at the time when Rose just came, i had this fear that she may be bullied by Caleb. It seems like my fear is not unfound. When i carried Caleb over last night and talked to him in a very stern tone, he quietens down. I can imagine, this boy might need discipline even earlier than his Jie Jie and Gor Gor. Is he my little brat?

And he enjoys eating more than milk; he eats with less fuss.

Attention!

Rose brings him down twice a day for walks and he gets alot of attention from his friends downstairs (the Aunties & Maids) as he is a regular downstairs since 2 months old, haha.  When Auntie Josephine (our next door neighbour) meets him downstairs and calls him aloud from far,  Caleb turns around looking for her and gets pleasantly happy when he spots her :) He even knows how to make funny face " squeeze his eyes and nose together"to get our attention. Very Cute!

Having said that he's so cute, its still quite a trouble bringing him out on weekends. He gets excited easily but also gets into his crying or tired mode very easily. He always get into a fuss whenever we are out! 

6 Over Months Old

Little Caleb is over 6 Months old, getting super adorable each day! Charming me everyday!! He's eating more solid now, mostly cereal during the day. He rejected fish porridge from the start but is ok with sweet potato puree. Perhaps, grandma will start him again with fish porridge next week. He loves sweet stuff though, finishes his baby fruit youghurt or jelly neatly. He seems greedy with food, watches us eat very attentively! He's always attempting to grap my spoon and pushes into his mouth, but each time i say NO, he listens and exercise some self control over his hand. Clever boy!

Next Holiday....??

Almost 2 years since we went for a holiday! Its time to plan one soon.... hee :)

Bath Time

Who doesn't like bath time right? Its been a long time since we brought him to swim, kinda lazy haha.

To compensate him, i will give him 3 times shower at times!!
