Whats New?

Celeste has learnt how to pick up the phone & she blabbers the moment she picks it up! Its so cute and really amuses us when we saw her do that. We were caught by surprise " oh gosh, where did she learn that from ". They sure do learn fast now...

Frequent Falls

I haven't been feeling well myself lately, today I finally got better. But celeste got some virus, having continuous diarrhea & mild fever. My poor gal, she was so grumpy yesterday and didn't sleep well the entire night, being kept awake by her constant LS :-(

She's also having frequent falls and bumps lately. She just had a big fall when she tried to climb over the laugh & learn table and lost her balance. She cried for help but we were too late to rush to her! She fell straight onto the floor with the head first and eye hit against a toy. Gosh, it was a real bad bruise and cut. What a fright we got..

Happy 1st Birthday Celeste! Mama & Papa had planned your party since a month ago. From the “so nice balloons” to the “Yummy birthday cakes” to the “popular party packs”. We are glad it turned out to be so successful & fun for everyone. Over 80 guests turned up at your poolside party. The party gave us an opportunity to catch up with friends and relatives, at the same time, we are proud to show them that you have reached your 1 year mark!

I am Toddler, Hear me ROAR!

The theme of the year that lies ahead...I am Toddler, Hear me Roar. I came across this phrase and found it extremely true coming! Celeste is getting naughtier as she is turning 12 months. She is starting to throw temper tantrums by crying and twisting her body around. Is this a passing phrase of growing up...?

Of course, she is growing to become more independent and having a mind of her own. I noticed she gets especially happy and cheeky when we have guests in our house, very nice hospitality though. Last Sunday we had relatives over; she had so much fun with her two cousins who are 7 & 9 years older than her. I wouldn't have believed if I didn't see it myself, Celeste was practically shouting across the hall and initiating to chase after her two cousins in her walker! So much excitement and fun for the evening that she had nightmare as we expected! Very Playful and definitely she looks so grown up overnight :-)

I got the Hello Kitty stuff from Daisho, can't resist getting it for Celeste or rather for myself hee...,.
In it there's a spate, small bucket, watering can -> great for the beach ; plates (a pair) and a plastic cup to train her to use soon :-)

Farewell for Lydia

The last time i went to a KTV was like 7 years ago. I'm not good with chinese characters nor do i listen to chinese songs. Singing english songs is such a bore at KTV. Many years ago, i used to party on weekends at Ridleys or Newsroom so i guess i will just do what i am better at!

Uncle's Birthday

Our family celebrated Uncle's Birthday at a Shanghainese Rest last evening. It was a nice & cozy restaurant opened by former Channel U newscaster.

The Eleventh Month

. Celeste is not a food lover - she only enjoys having bread, biscuits, yoghurt, fruits or fruit puree! Oh No!!
. Loves water, enjoys tremendously when swimming
. Can't say any word, other than "Papa" discriminately
. Can't walk yet but can stand alone momentarily
. Only has 2 teeth...
. Very little hair too...
. Doesn't sleep much
. Very smilely though :-)
. Can be shy at times
. Afraid of tickling
. Can be rough when playing with peers
. Has started watching Barney & Hi-Fi!
. Enjoys playing with Papa & Grandma the most!
. Her security object is her bolster
. Looking forward to her 1st Birthday Bash next month

Its National Day! Grandma treated us for dinner at the Sechuan Court Restaurant. Nice ambience & Nice food. I couldn't resist taking some snapshots of the dishes.

The pinkie gals! Mark always comment.. huh, pink again?? Mother and daughter always in pink! I got this jumper for her in HK, i was so blur! I liked it so much and i bought it w/o checking its size! Its for 3-6 Months! Perhaps its US size, i can still fit Cel in :-o Phew...
