Swimming

Its been many months since she went for a swim because she had been sick frequently. Today, she asked to go for a swim, so i agreed. Surprisingly, she overcome her fear for water and enjoyed swimming totally~

Away for the CNY

Mark will be out of town this CNY! :(
He will be out for a Month, coming back for a 2 weeks break before his 3 Month course starts in March :O
I have nothing to look forward...

Sister Role

Celeste surprised me this evening while she was talking to Zenith.
She was teaching Zenith how to address all of us:
"Didi, call Mummy, call Papa, call Popo, call grandma etc..."
I thought that was really sweet & cute.

On Diet Maybe

Zenith skips his milk frequently :(
So here's one way how we can reduce wastage, by soaking the bread with milk!

Before sleep also toys, wake up also toys, before go out toys, come home also toys. (I meant her Play Doh). Never see her do the same thing to books. Arrgh!!

New Toys

She's getting real excited over new toys. She even gets possessive over them. I had to threaten her that the play doh will be thrown away if she doesn't allow me to keep it away after play. She forbids Zenith to go near her favourite toy too.

Physical Development

Zenith weight is 8.47kg & at 69.8cm tall. He is not tall! Seems like he has taken after our genes :o

Celeste Tay New Fringe

How is she doing

28 Months old and..
*hair growing very very slowly and thin.., has receding hairline at the sides just like Mark! No wonder!
*Can identify colours
*Can count 1-10 herself
*Can’t sing a complete song yet, favourite song is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”
*Able to remove her own clothes and diapers herself but not able to put on properly.
*Appetite is great and a meat lover, just like Mummy!
*Likes to be pretty! She can sit still for her hair cut because she was told she gets prettier after that.
*Enjoys eatting vege now because Popo said her eyes becomes bigger!
*Likes to be read a story but gets distracted just 5 minutes into it.
*Greets the teacher "Morning" and Says "Lao Shi Qin Chi".
*It's weird but she loves taking medicine! Probably cause its sweet!
*Understands Papa and Mummy needs to work and she needs to go to school.
*bullies Papa and demands his attention immediately while listens to Mummy completely! Coz Mummy is really fierce!
Way to go man Girl!

Daddy's going away

Mark's Attendance at Rotary Wing Flight Test Course is confirmed at London. His date of visit will be 25 March to 20 June. That means he is going to miss Zenith's 1st Birthday, his own birthday & also mine :(
I am not looking forward to it...

We brought the children down for a stroll, Faith enjoyed playing with the water while Zenith was less adventurous!

Kyrell's 1st Month Celebration

Mummy says he has been quite a good boy so far :)
I carried him and put him back into his cot, he didn't let out any cry. Not too bad for the start!

Drawing

My little gal's first experience with Paint & drawing. It didn't create a mess at all & she was having lots of fun with them! She loves drawing now though we can't figure out what she has drawn! And she goes on and on saying "yellow", "black", "red", "green", "blue". The Apron which Howard/Kim bought the last time came in so handy :)

9 Months Old

My baby Zenith is already 9 Months old, "Whoa"! How time flies! He is not walking yet but is happy enough to pull himself up all the time. He can move around his cot by holding on to it. But at 9 months, still no sign of his first tooth planting! Mark is out for 2 weeks Reservist, leaving the 3 of us at home. But we are coping well, Celeste is very well behaved once again :)

Separation Anxiety

Zenith's separation anxiety is at its peak! He is very attached to his constant caregiver and starts to have fear for strangers. He wants to be carried all the time and cries when being left alone at his playpen. A very sticky little baby now!

NTUC Childcare

Jie Jie started her Full Day Childcare this Jan. She starts the day early at 7am and comes back in the evening. She takes her afternoon nap in school but doesn't naps well without her bolster and tutu. But I'm not giving in because i have to wean her off the tutu soon. Each evening she comes home feeling really tired and hasn't got much appetite for dinner. She needs more time to get use to the routine. But Celeste is definitely enjoying school!

Yo Yo!

Zenith has started to protest when he is unhappy. At times, he jump in his walker or refuse his bath or change and his cries may be quite high pitch.

"Internal War"

It's always fun putting the 2 babies together, seeing how they react and learn to play with each other. Faith doesn't quite like to share her space with Zenith, she prefers her own space. Zenith often just lay motionless while his cousin attempts to get him out. They are both so cute!
