Passport Photo
Zen's first passport photo out! The photographer wasn't very patient because she couldn't capture Zen's attention. She asked me to try taking at home and send them the pic for editing. I didn't give up and continued with a few more shots; so here is one we think its best. If you notice, you can spot my little finger there!

Is it Dec Yet?
Its been 3 weeks since Papa left for work, we have been trying to keep ourselves occupied like going to the library, walking down to AMK hub, going to swim or taking a stroll downstairs. Weekend has been really interesting so far with activities lining up but this week seems to be kinda empty. It will be another 9 weeks before Papa comes home; i am already feeling tired without him - having to send Celeste to school with her still crying everyday and rushing off to work from there...how i wish time flies to Dec now!

6 month Old
Half more year to his 1st Birthday! Zen is 6 months old with no appearance of teeth yet. He is enjoying his solid with mashed potato, carrots, sweet potato and brown rice cereal. We are going to give him broccoli and cauliflower next! He is able to sit for awhile with our support and is beginning to shuffle his bottom. Zen is also growing well at 8kg and is 65.9cm. By the time Papa comes back, he is already 9 Months old. We are looking forward to that day….

Hari Raya Everyone!
How we spent our 1st weekend without Papa! Its quality time with family again. Today, everywhere is packed even at Singapore's biggest shopping mall. We didn't want to waste the night away so spent the rest of the evening walking around Vivo. Celeste had a enjoyable day and it was also the first time Zenith came home so late... .

Ambition....? Let's think!
Congrats on the Wedding Couple
Congratulations to Wee Sian and Li Leng. Their wedding was held at Conrad Hotel where i used to work at the Front Desk. The hotel looks the same when i left 8 years ago, and i still get the very warm feeling from it. Those were the days when I had to stand straight for 7 hours at the front desk, greeting & attending to guests needs. It was fun working with Cindy, Melvin, Justin, Patrick, Jeslyn & many more.. but i definitely don't miss my Mid-night shift :o

Day 5 @ School
Still cried after i left this morning but alot better today! She sat with other friends on the floor during story telling, finished her lunch & didn't struggle as much. When she left the centre, she even said bye, gave flying kiss, shake hands to her friends and teachers when Popo asked her to. Things should get better.....!
Yummy Lunch!

Day 4 @ School
Today must have been a nightmare for Celeste Tay. I sent her to school, and left after saying bye. She was taken aback that i was leaving but had no chance to go after me as the teacher had already carried her. She struggled but couldn't do much except to call out "Mama", "Mama". I stayed outside the class for awhile, peeping in on and off, careful enough not to let her see me. Her cries were heard even from afar. Other parents who were there to drop off their kid, tried to calm her down and assure her Mama will come back later. They carried her to soothe her but it didn't help. Its really heart quenching to see my daughter being left there to cry. My eyes were waterly as i stayed outside to wait and see.
The nice parent who tried to calm Celeste earlier, came out and told me to go off to work. He said, "I know its heart-breaking, but its ok, they will have to go through this phrase. Just go to work, if there is any problem, the teachers will call you. He was very nice to tell Celeste from the window, " Uncle will call Mama to pick you up" and distracted her while i slipped off from her view.
Popo was really worried and went to the centre as early as 8am to make sure Celeste is fine. Peeping in, Celeste was still crying and nothing seemed to be able to calm her down. She kept saying "Home" and wanted to take her shoes from the cabinet and pointed out towards the door. She was even attempting to open the little door that leads to the main door. Popo felt so heart pain to see Celeste crying non-stop from 7 plus and of course, when she called to report to me, i really felt sad too. But we both know she has to learn and adapt to the new environment. The teachers commented Celeste really had a strong character as she nv stopped crying and insisted her ways. Up till 11am, Popo could still hear Celeste's cries from afar..
At 11 plus, Celeste finally quietened down when its time for Lunch. The Principal fed her lunch and after 2 spoons, she was just too tired and fell asleep before Popo could pick her up. She woke up and didn't continue to cry, and Popo brought her home.. Popo bought her 2 pieces of cake and she finished them up. Guess the poor gal was real hungry. I hope she will be better off in school tomorrow.. Its another day before the weekend break.
As Justin's advised, remember its a phase they will pass through...

Day 2 @ School
Day 2 didn't turn out that well.. She was happy in the beginning but when i sneaked out to go to the Principal's office, she cried out loud. When my mum took over as i left earlier, she started to misbehave. She didn't want to queue up for her turn to play, didn't want to hold her friend's hand and resisted bathing in school. She only fed well for lunch. I would say the toughest part for her will be Separation Anxiety which she needs to outgrown it..

So Cute!
We stopped over at MAC to have a drink because Celeste was thirsy. Seems like Little Zenith was thirsty as well, we forgot all about him!
Go to school "LIVE"
Celeste finally went to school today! Its hard to wake her up in the morning, get her out of the bed & take her shower. Gosh! If this continues, i will be late for work every morning! Things went on well, we walked our way to the childcare which is a 15-20 mins walk. She was happily carrying her Carebear Bag, which i admit its rather bulky for her size. She enjoyed school and did mention to me go to home, but didn't insist on her request. She cried for awhile when the children were very friendly to insist holding her hand. Hahaha. Our our way home, i asked her if she wants to go to school tomorrow, she replied Yes! Hopefully that's real!
