Singapore Zoo

It was a wonderful morning, the weather was just great, breezy and cool. It's Celeste's first time to the zoo, face to face with real animals! She was pretty excited travelling in the tram when she's afar from the animals, but quite scared when we go closer to them. She covers her ears or eyes with her hat/titbits. Good thing we didn't go on a Saturday morning, else it will be real crowded!

Well Done Gal!

Celeste is Potty trained!! Hooray! No more discomfort from the pampers, no more nappy rash and say good bye to pampers at least at home! She gets our attention when she needs to pee or poo and knows how to hold her urine till she gets hold of her potty. Well done Celeste!

BOTAK!!

After seeing how frail and thin Celeste's hair is, we decided to give Zenith a shave! So cute, he looks like a little monk now. Alright, here he is! Getting all Ready for the Shave! It wasn't that difficult, all done in 5 minutes! May he have thick and black hair soon :)

Its Them!

Its been awhile since we met up! I have been so biz with my kids, its just so hard to find time to meet up! Finally, we settled down on a date. Cin & huifang were so nice, they got pressies from Fox Baby for Celeste & Zenith :)
Eski came along too but Celeste is so terrified of the dog, btw, he is a Scottish terrier. He has to be kept away at the balcony :-p

Updates

At 4 months, he smiles alot, laugh out loud, started his first solid today, loves attention from others, makes alot of noise, kicks alot and can be left alone in his rocker to play by his own.

He can still fit into his clothes he wore since birth! I dont know how heavy he is now but i will get to know this sat when he is due for injection. He's growing well from the last medical check up. Let's see progress this mth :-)

This is my little baby Zenith. Looking foward to Jie Jie's advance birthday celebration on 2nd Sept :-). Papa will be out of town the following week for 3 whole months. Fortunately, he will be back home before Xmas!

Start Solid Today

Zenith is 4 Months & 3 days old today. We introduced the infant rice cereal to him then finishing his meal with his milk. It went well though he was giving the screwed up face through out and could not really swallow yet :-)

I Got It! HFM!

Accordingly to the website, It rarely affects otherwise healthy adults, if at all. An adult can get the virus and feel ill, although he or she wouldn't get the rash.
I've blisters on my palms & on 1 week MC. Needs to be isolated from the rest :-o

So difficult. hope this period pass soon.

Whats on National Day!

It’s been a long… noisy & boring National Day for us! Today there are more small blister-like sores appearing on her legs, hands, thighs and also ulcers in her mouth. She didn’t have much appetite for dinner. She was also extremely grouchy today. I couldn’t help it but got quite upset when she keeps throwing tantrum the whole day!! Sick but no excuse for throwing tantrum!!

Celeste still managed to brush her teeth despite her ulcers in her mouth :-0
Her Papa is coming back in 2 days time! He is going to spoil her like mad…!!

Celeste is sick...

I was told Celeste did not behave well yesterday, didn’t want to eat her food and made quite a fuss at home. But other than that, she was still her usual self being quite active. Besides its not surprising that Celeste doesn’t want to finish her food. In the evening, when I touched her, I realized she is feeling quite warm. Took her temperature, she’s running a fever at 38.6 degrees C. Thank goodness I have fever medicine stocked up at home from her previous visit to the Pediatrician.

Initially I thought she might be having urinary tract infection (UTI) because she has been pointing to her private part for some time. I tried asking her if she needs to go to the toilet, but she always answers No. UTI can be quite painful, which I suspect she might be experiencing pain when passing urine & I thought her high temperature could be caused by the infection.

Mum brought to see the doctor today and it turned out the diagnosis was hand, foot, and mouth disease! Celeste hasn’t even started on childcare. She attended Tumble Tots last Saturday though. Apparently, this virus is highly contagious. Now we will have to keep Celeste & Zenith apart & observe hygiene at home. Poor Celeste can’t get to go out when Papa comes back this sat. We will have to find ways to keep her entertained at home for 2 weeks!

3.5 mths

Its fun! Zenith is getting more sociable now and making new noises. He's also thriving to get attention from us and cries when he realises no one's paying attention to him :-o how cute at this stage...

Day 12th

Its already Day 12th and another 7 days before Papa comes back! He is missing his children badly.. the good thing is Celeste didn't seem to realise Papa's absence! All of us are coping well, probably just having a boring weekend:-o

We put Zen on his bumbo seat, his neck seems steady enough! Looking forward to his first cereal feed next mth :-)

First Moment of Laughter!

Today Zenith caught us by surprised! He was laughing out loudly suddenly! And we made him do it over and over again :p
