Talking but very slowly........

While other toddlers can say more than 50 words, form sentences and sing. Celeste is still babbling away and very limited in her vocab. She points more and only says a few words to let us know what she wants. Till now, we have to guess what she wants. I have been emphasizing to her to speak, so that we can understand what she wants and can give it to her. It just seems difficult for her to pick up the appropriate words like water, thank you.

We even scheduled a visit to KK hospital for her speech assessment but have since cancelled as Celeste has started talking more. Now these are what she has been saying: But she refuses to repeat the words when asked to.

Our weekend

Its been almost a week since Papa left for US, glad to say we are coping well so far. I have started out driving on Wed, this is my proudest accomplishment so far. I have gotten my license in July 1997 and its been 10 whole years since i was behind any wheel :-0. I started out driving to work but don't dare to roam anywhere else because my driving & parking skills still sucks! Hhahahaah.

To Update Papa : Zen loves his FP rocker! We used to carry him to sleep in our arms, its too tiring for us. Each time when we put him down, he wakes up. But now he is so comfortable falling asleep himself in the rocker and gets a longer rest in it too.
Meanwhile Celeste doesn't like to watch Barney or Hi-5 anymore! She likes to watch SPIDER MAN 3! She likes Football/cars & now Spider man show! Gosh!

Hush Hush

Its day 3 and Celeste is behaving well, didn't ask for her darling Papa.
But Zenith was naughty, wants to be carried every moment!

Away for 13 days

Its only the 1st day, Celeste was very well behaved, at least for the 1st day! An angel today :-) Well, i think Papa miss us more than we miss him. We are too caught up with time!

Finger Sucking Good..

Its been a week since i started back at work, i'm actually quite glad to be back at my desk! I feel good having my own time, doing my own things, chatting with my friends and colleagues rather than 24 hrs with the kids :-o

Zenith took his second injection this morning, he behaved very well, only let out a short cry. He is growing very well at 90% percentile, and weighs 6.12kg now.

Sentosa!

It was a weekend spent at the beachfront Rasa Sentosa. Sentosa has definitely changed a lot, there is still more to come since so much construction is going on now.

The weather was obviously too hot to bear!


Dolphin Lagoon- The pink dolphins were really intelligent!










New attraction - Songs of the Sea. It was a live cast with dramatic effects of the water, laser and captivating music. It was totally entertaining!












Underwater World - Celeste seems to be a little overwhelmed by the very big species of fishes all around her.












We brought Celeste to the beach for a stroll, but she does not enjoy walking on the sand!

Zen is coming 3 months old and he's getting cuter by the day. He's getting responsive by smiling to everyone and making sounds. So much fun!

While Celeste is still slow in her speech, at least she's realising the importance of talking now. She is picking up more words slowly. I wish she can pick up more words at a faster rate, that will help us understand her needs better. And i thought she looks better with her fringe pinned up! :-)
