Laze..

Popo is in Shanghai till May 8th, so Celeste has been home since last Fri. She has been really noisy & super active. Cecile has to find activities to entertain her constantly, how I wish mum's back soon hahah.

Her nap time has been reduced to a mere 45 mins for the whole day and she wants to watch Hi-5 all the time! We are like repeating the show again and again... oh gosh.. such a bore.. but she simply enjoys them! The couch potato at her best!

After Birth

Its 12 days after birth, its disappointing to learn that i still have extra 8kg with me. I still look 5 mths preggie. Unfortunately, more fats seem to have lingered with me this time round. I still have a Big... flabby tummy and thick waistline. My backache which i suffered during pregnancy is back with me!

Oh i can't wait for my Malay massage to start tomorrow. Although i have not stopped munching some snacks, i cant wait to get back to shape!

Celeste's been getting easily igitated, misbehaving since Zenith's arrival. We think she is misbehaving to get back the attention she used to enjoy. Its really quite annoying at times as it also makes me feel fustrated with all her fussing the whole day. We have to keep reminding ourselves her feelings of welcoming a new born baby home.. Mark has been assigned the task of giving more attention to Celeste.

My Little Darling

Zenith arrived on 17th April at 1703hrs, weighing 2.88kg. There was a delay of 2.5hrs as the gynae had 2 operations before me.. such a long wait... After spending 4 days in hospital, finally i get to be discharged. Managed to get alittle settled down at home and the confinement lady just arrived from Malaysia. Here's some pics to share for the start, more posted on the slide -> on the right. Enjoy the moments with my little prince.

Wk 36

My C-section has been brought forward by 2 days to 17th April, 1430hrs! The gynae has a last minute trip to Portugal for training. Wow! That means i will be delivering at wk 37 exactly.

I went for a check-up yesterday, it was quite disappointing to find out that Baby Zenith is actually slightly smaller than expected. He is currently estimated at 2.3kg, expected weight at birth to be at 2.5-2.7kg. Celeste was 3.32kg at birth at wk 37. Apparently, my placenta does not seem to be absorbing enough nutrients for baby's growth. So all the more i should be delivering earlier...for this reason. I also have signs of high blood due to numbness and pain felt on my palm. Well, I'm counting down to 3 more days. After putting on 14kg, I'm getting increasing uncomfortable walking and sleeping.

Myself

At almost 36 weeks pregnant, how am i feeling?
~ feeling so heaty
~ trying to drink coconut juice to cool off
~ having a irritable throat all because of durian
~ trying to cure my cough before my c-section on 19th April
~ having backache.. difficulty in sleeping because of the strain..
~ feeling so fatique after a day's work
~ can't stop eatting ice-cream
~ can't wait to go on maternity
~ Anxiety coming along...

And feeling so stretched with new stretch marks appearing.. gosh...
