The tanglin tree

Daddy's back home! We met up with Sis and nephews at the tanglin tree for brunch. Its good to have the man home again, he can drive us anywhere. Its also been awhile since the kids could go out and chill out. I can't manage alone now in my last trimester. We came here today so the children could engage in some outdoor play after their meals, its something they look forward to...

31+ weeks Pregnant

I'm getting heavier, baby Caleb has turned head down into the position ready for birth. I'm eatting well but having strong craving for chocolate now! Its so hard to resist! I have 6 more weeks to go! Well, i get to celebrate Xmas first at least :)

~ 15th Nov 2010 ~

5 more days!! Hooray! We are getting excited, Celeste is so detail as to ask what time is Daddy coming back on Sat?

The maid has been in for 4 days, Zenith's behaviour also changed! He thinks the helper is there for him and he can start mishaving. Children's attitude sure change fast!

Extra help!

The new maid came in yesterday, she resembles alot like Cecile in terms of size and behaviour, but is quieter and reacts slower. I stopped having a helper almost 2 years ago, it feels good now to have someone attend to your little needs again, of course with a added cost. The good thing is the kids could immediately relate to her and likes her around especially Zenith. For me, i still miss my old helper :)

7 more days to Mark coming home... I miss him.... so do the children! Can't wait to receive him back home!

~ 11th Nov 2010 ~

Mil's not feeling well again, she's going to the hospital for the second time in 3 weeks. Fortunately Mark is coming home next weekend. Hope she gets well soon :)

Mark's coming back in 9 days!! Really looking forward and counting down! Today's my day off, i'm going for facial and meeting my old friend for Lunch, how nice & relaxing........ :)

~ 9 Nov 2010 ~

Finally! I can pick up the new maid this Friday. Visit the gynae first then go pick the maid. Haiz, I have been doing everything myself including gynae visits for the past 6 months....

~ Day 5 ~

It's already Day 5 and things been good at home. As long as children behaving well, i feel good too :) They could really play along with each other so well! Even though its a holiday today, we did not attempt to go shopping, its a NO NO for me. We spent a nice and quiet afternoon at sis's house, the kids always love going over because there are tons of toys there! I was also happy to hear that Daddy went shopping last evening and got many stuff for the kids!! Nothing for me yet... i hope he will shop for me soon!!
And i have something for the kids to look forward next morning, we will go Mac Donald for breakfast!

~ Day 2 ~

Mark has touched down today after almost 24 hours, if it's me, i would have cried for help on the flight! I have bad motion sickness. The kids are very well behaved that i need not raise my voice at all. I'm glad they are quite sensible at least for these two days, helping me around with chores also. That helped alot, made me less tired. We all had good sleep... especially me, dreaming of Daddy coming back with many presents hahaha

~ Day 1 ~

Hubby msged me last night, see me in 20 days! 20 days doesn't sound too far out. Its good, i'm positive! Children behaved well this morning as promised, they were happy to be upgraded to sleep in my room while Daddy's out. And I received a good news this afternoon, the maid agency called to inform me my maid should be available by next weekend :) My helper is finally coming! Hope she is as good as Cecile.

29 weeks pregnant

Time flies, i'm in my third trimester. Another 9 weeks to go before baby Caleb arrives :) At least i get to celebrate Xmas before he arrives!
Daddy's leaving for the States today, back on 20th Nov. 3 weeks is not long as compared to his last trip which lasted for 3 months. Hopefully this 3 weeks will be a breeze.
I'm easily tired now and very forgetful. I dreamt twice that my new maid has arrived.... when exactly is she coming? The agency can't even confirm her arrival date. I'm really yearning for some help from a domestic helper :)

Something's exciting : Daddy's going on a 3 weeks overseas training, leaving the three of us here :p
He's really looking forward to his trip, while i'm mentally prepared "i hope". I have decided to work just 3 days a week in Nov ( thanks to 2 Public Holidays next mth) since my new maid won't come in until Daddy's back. What great timing he got! This is to ensure i get enough rest for myself and also have enough stamina to handle the 2 little ones :)

Voyage De La Vie

One of Grandpa's client who works at the Resort World Sentosa Singapore gave us 6 complimentary tickets to catch the Theatrical Circus Spectacular ( Voayage De La Vie) which lasted almost 2 hours. The whole show was very captivating, even Zenith was concentrating throughout the show. It was nice to see him enjoying himself and he told us he wants to watch that again :) Celeste enjoyed the show too! Nice experience for the kids!

Jaymee's 6th Birthday Party

The kids were invited to Jaymee's 6th Birthday Party at Mac Donald's. Its their first time attending party at Mac and they absolutely enjoyed themselves and like their new friend Jaymee :) Thanks for the invitation!

Thank you Auntie Kwee Hon for the little sweet thoughts from Genting! The kids have not been to Genting.. one day we might go there for a short family break even though i have motion sickness! It sounds fun while affordable!

Things been pretty quiet recently, there hasn't been much interesting affairs since Celeste's Birthday last month. I also have been either too lazy or tired to update the blog. Other than starting on swimming lesson for the kids, we are stopping Celeste's English class form Morris Allen this week since i thought she has not been progressing recently. I will be enrolling her in a Art Class in the coming weeks as she really enjoys drawing.

Our baby boy Name

We decided to name our baby boy Caleb Tay. The name Caleb comes from the Hebrew origin and meaning is bold. May him be a litte strong man - :) I'm looking forward to his arrival on 4th Jan 2011  (Tuesday)

While Celeste means heavenly and Zenith means the height of success or prosperity! I love the meanings!

Anderson Primary School Family Day

As part of the Parents Volunteer for Anderson Primary School, we joined in this evening's Family Day. The both of us were assigned to the games booth. I felt the school event was actually quite interesting and it didn't feel like volunteer work at all. If we weren't on the job, we would have brought Celeste and Zenith to this enjoyable event.  Anyway, it was really fun getting to know the other parents and also seeing the students participate in the school event though its too tiring for me :) Nevertheless, i still enjoyed myself today :) Some photos courtesy from Ronnie!

 

Happy 5th Birthday!

It's Celeste's actual birthday today ~ 15th Sept. We granted her wish to celebrate her birthday @ school together with her classmates. She chose a pretty Hello Kitty cake from Polar and gave out some goodie bags to her friends. They loved it!

Celebrating her 5th Birthday @ home with her little cousins, she chose her favourite Disney Princess Character Cake this time and the gals at home are all in love with Princess!

First Swimming Lesson!

Its the kids first swimming lesson today! Actually we thought Zenith might be a little young to start because he's only 3.5 years old. We gave it a try anyway so we could have both kids start swimming together. He was scared at first and cried but soon calmed down and listened to the teacher. They both listened to instructions well and their first Swimming Lesson was a SUCCESS! I'm also so happy to see them progressing! And they thought their next swimming lesson will be tomorrow!! hhahahah

Mid Autumn Festival

We went to the River Lantern Light up at the Riverside Point @ Clarke Quay and it was a massive crowd! The children love the lighted hairband and torch we got for them!
