Closure of Learning Vision @ RP

Zenith's been out of school for a month now, when he's due to start his new school at the Learning Vision on 1st Feb, we received notice that the school will be closed until 10th Feb due to outbreak of HMFD at the centre. My boy is schooless now...

New Year Treats

Lots of sweet food during Chinese New Year, i especially love the Cantonese dried fruits. People say having something sweet to eat will help make your New Year just as sweet as well. Well, i had a nice and sweet CNY! I think i ate too much this year though, MIL said that too. I was home the entire week that i kept filling my stomach with these treats! Its too tempting! I am a junky anyway.

#1 Favourite thing to do. Play with water! We probably do this with him once a month. The water is so chilly, we see him shivering, but that doesn't stop him for having more fun!

Weekend

Rose is off today, that means our hands will be tied up today with the little one. 

Brought him down to the playground, we heard he enjoys the slide a lot and can climb up himself. Let's see! He likes to walk around the compound too, not wanting to be held on too.

Calling names in the Morning!

He's an early bird and gets very noisy in the morning. He tries to call out to us at the stair gate, asking us to come down. He clings onto the stair gate just like a little monkey. Its hard not to hear him, he's really LOUD.

Alittle 'Naughty'

As he gets older each day, he test his limits on us. After the CNY havoc, he gains more independence. He protested strongly when we brought him away from the toys department. Hahaha... here's the start....

Kinda hooked to Disney Junior

Caleb's has his favorite programs now (Special Agent Oso, Chuggington). He watches them everyday during his meal times or when Jie Jie/Gor Gor watches them in the evening. He tends to move to his favorite spot to catch his show, most of the time, we moved him backwards because he's too near to the tele.

@ 13 Months

Caleb is getting cuter each day.

He knows what he wants, he will point to the direction he wants to go, and resist when things are taken away from him
He started scolding Rose even though he can’t talk yet, he even scolded MIL back when she scolded him “ haha, that was very funny”. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get his way, he got a big one in return for disobeying!
He understands what we says, when I said “ ok lets go, he stands up and holds my hand” ready to go!
He’s been very busy walking around the house “up and down” the corridor since he gained independence in walking.
He loves his set of mega blocks bought by grandma, (second set given by Yima), he stacks them and removes them and enjoys playing along with Celeste and Zenith.
He’s a good boy so far, though he can be quite demanding. But he listens to our instructions!
Until today, he calls out to Papa and Jie Jie only  but it's loud and clear. Last night, Papa teached him to say ”APPLE” since that’s his favorite fruit and this morning, we heard him attempted twice: APPLE…

Lunar New Year Day 2

Caleb woke up on the second day of the Dragon Year in a good mood :)

 He seems addicted to his tutu these days, he protest when Rose takes it away from him. It's better than sucking his fingers!

 Ok, we are ready to go out. We have... 3 household to visit today. Another fun day for Caleb who likes socializing. He was very well behaved at everyone's house, a very good boy :)

Lunar New Year Day 1

Chinese New Year Celebration Day 1, starts with sweet deserts and cakes in the morning. This New Year, we wish everyone peace and happiness :-)

Caleb joins us for full schedule of New Year Visiting this year. Jie Jie dressed up in a pretty traditional dress, while the brothers dressed up in similar style shirts.

Caleb enjoys visiting 4 household today together with his Jie Jie and Gor Gor, he watches on as Jie Jie Kara eats her bah kwa.

 He kept himself occupied playing with the packet drinks on the table. He sure learns fast, he's also trying to poke his straw into the drink, like how he saw all of us did.

 Today we are visiting Yeye's relatives.
