Singapore River Festival

Seeing the latest advertisement on Central, it made us went down, just in time for Singapore River Festival this month. However, we only managed to catch a glimpse of some entertainment along the river. Its been many many years since i went to Clarke Quay, the whole river is full of activities! I love the ambience. its so relaxing to dine there ... :)

Orchid Country Club

Today we chio Aeon along to the playground @ Orchid Country Club. its always nice for the children to have friends outside school, Celeste and Aeon seemed to enjoy each other company too, Celeste kept calling for Aeon throughout the time :) Besides we always wanted to check out how much taller Aeon is compared to Zenith, Aeon is 3 mths older. Genes also play a part, Fern/Roland are so much taller than myself and Mark :p

We let Celeste have a feel on the skates, its pretty heavy, we will probably let her take on a trial lesson with a Certified instructor in future. Mark used to skate but he doesn't know how to teach his own daughter :p

Longkang Fishing

We have been wanting to let the kids try this out! We did it today! Its quite hard to catch the little fishes actually, they are too fast for us, Daddy managed to catch a few, but we let them go before we left the place. Celeste & Zenith had a new experience of catching fishes today.

Fire Station

There is no phonics lesson today, we took the opportunity to bring the kids to visit the Bishan Fire Station which is new to all of us! The fire men are all professional well-trained officers and they geared up to demonstate & explain to us their fire fighting operations; and we noticed they all did it with pride :)
Bishan Fire Station is just 10 mins away from our place, and the fire station is relatively new

Zenith was quite intimidated by the big fire engines from near.

hee, we went up on the crane to as high as 5 stories, quite scary actually if you look down.. not recommended for those who has height phobia. Well, Zenith was scared and he didn't want me to go near the railing.

They both got a fire men's hat and the fire men are all so friendly there! They make us feel so welcome :)

Demostrating the use of the hose, and we realised that the water is always flowing out form the hose the whole day, i thought that was a waste of water, but he mentioned this is to prevent the water from sudden busting out from the hose. Make Sense!

Its so difficult and tiring to manage them! 2 is enough! Celeste is super whiny while Zenith is super aggressive & naughty, both are very stubborn! They play 5 minutes and fight the other 10 mins! This goes on and on... just one word; SHAG! When is this going to stop?

East Coast Beach

Can you believe ERP charges from CTE -> PIE cost a whopping $6?? That's too much isn't it? Horrible! Anyway, weather's good today to head down to the beach since we want to make full use of our annual leave. We spent a whole good hour at the beach with the kids just pouring water and playing sand. Not many seashells to pick though, pathetic.

19th June - The childcare is closed for Teacher’s training.
I asked Mark to take leave to look after the children but he said he probably couldn’t manage the 2 of them alone. Thats reasonable, so I took leave for tmr as well… Hmph.. What’s plan for the 2 naughty children? We have a long weekend this week! Yeah!

Celeste's cat look so much prettier than the dogs Faith & Zenith were holding! I love the green necklace on the cat! Of course the cat cost $4 while the dogs cost only $2.

Orchid Country Club

Brought the kids to the indoor playground since its raining today. They had whole lot of fun! They are now big enough to explore the tunnels on their own without the need for us to follow behind them! Its a good place to hang out to shag them out!
