HOME SWEET HOME

We are finally home and i'm really Glad :) Enough of shopping for all of us, i missed my Zenith so much and Celeste misses everyone and her cosy home. She said she missed Zenith too! And to spoil all the fun, she puked in the taxi just when we reached our basement carpark! Gross, it was all over me. Luckily, there was little damage done to the taxi. We felt so bad about it but we were so lucky to meet a very understanding Taxi Uncle, he not only offered us plastic bag, he offered Celeste sweets on the way and even offered her some biscuits after she vomited. He stayed around until we settled her. He didn't have to anyway, good thing Mark gave him more tips too.

Hong Kong (1st Half)

Its a 3h 15 mins flight to HK, less than what i thought! It was also Celeste's first time on the plane, she took it well :) I was the one who always had motion sickness and just wanted to be left alone :(

Nice View, approaching HK in less than an hr's time.

Weather was good when we arrived, sunny at 33 degrees. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile located at Tsim Sha Tsui, which was very convenient.

This was our usual way of traveling with Celeste in the stroller.

On our way out to the Hong Kong Disneyland!

DisneyTrain & Me!

We only spent half a day at the Disneyland, the sun was too hot to bear and i concluded it was really exhausting to bring Celeste out on a holiday with her many request... Here at the photo taking, Celeste was the first one who got so excited when she first spotted Mickey & Minnie, but when they came up close to play with her, she was so intimidated that she started crying!!! So a family photo turned out to be Solo!

The conventional Tea Cups spin which was short and sweet.

A journey on a cruise for the children. "It's a small world". Celeste enjoyed the cruise the happiest.

At the Adventureland, we took the Jungle River Cruise and the timid gal was scared again with all the unexpected explosion along the River Journey.

Hong Kong (2nd Half)

Its the 3rd day and Celeste was asking to go home, she missed home. I asked her if she missed Grandma or Popo, she gave a very diplomatic answer : I missed Grandma and Popo :). In this picture, we were at Causeway Bay, shops open at 10am. Its past 10 mintues, but Giodano Concept still has its shutters half opened.

One of the retro lifts which we took, we wanted to go up to the 5th Floor but realised the lift only stops at even level. So we had to take the lift down and switch to the next lift. Mark has adopted a New Hobby for Remote Control Helicopter and he was sourcing around for the parts. Not all shops are located on the ground level as rental would be more costly. Their shops were located in some office buildings instead.

Stopping over for some tea-break.. need to give our foot some rest and feed our stomach. Check out her stony look, she just got up from her nap.

We did alot of exercise during this trip, HK is not exactly baby friendly. Their MTRs are not well facilitated with escalators/lifts. We had to carry the stroller up/down the flight of steps all the time. Mark was incharged of carrying the stroller while i carried Celeste. This is the flight of steps at Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station leading to our Hotel.

We ate at Mac Donald's today upon Celeste's Request. The current theme is Hello Kitty, the concept is quite different from Singapore. I had to top up S $2 for a Hello Kitty Toy.

We went for yummy Dim Sum that cost much lesser than Crystal Jade. Its half the price we would pay for the same food in Singapore. It was embarrasing that both of us didn't know how to read the menu in mandarin. We took a long time to figure out what to order till we gave up. Hahah, the restarant manager gave us a English Menu instead which helped instantly.

And we realised the English Menu did not include all the dishes, at least we found out the carrot cake was missing from this English Menu.

Celeste wanted to check out one of the Olympic Mascot, and i got her to pose with it :)

She was really tired towards the evening, as she only managed to nap on the way to the airport.

On Vacation!

We are going Hong Kong tomorrow! My last trip there was 2 years ago! I'm really excited, tune in to more photos when we are back in 4 days. Will miss my precious Zen..

This is Hilarious

This evening, i was telling Celeste why she must off the TV and sleep early because we have a early flight to catch tomorrow. She was reluctant to off the TV and replied : Keep quiet, Didi is sleeping. Her reply caught me by surprise! I really didn't know to laugh or tell her off for being Rude!
