Positive Discipline?

She is 2.5 years old and has not been behaving for the past months. She's been throwing her temper tantrum out of nothing and that is making me really upset. I admit i have been yelling, screaming and spanking her to make her stop but frankly, i dont think this is working. So right now, i am taking some time to read up & understand Celeste better. At least for now, i am going to re-create her night routine. Way to go!

Its Ice-cream again!

We met up with Auntie Huifang & Cin for Lunch & Ice-cream! This horrible mummy here, giving Celeste lots of ice-cream though she is still coughing! We ordered a "One Big Smile" for her, she finished almost everything!

Our Friday Dessert!!

I didn't want to spend my FRIDAY evening at HOME! So i brought the kids to J8 Haagen-Dazs for ICE-CREAM! Yummy!

We went to Auntie Jennifer's house for dinner, and it was YUMMY! All home cooked food except the Yu Sheng :-) And not forgetting the strawberry & Apple Strudel for desserts! I bet we all put on a kg over the weekend!

We become good friends after having worked together at Conrad, it was also my first job after graduation :) It was great fun working shift work with these guys back then! Its good to catch up pals!

The seventh day of the first month is the day of man. So it's on this day of the year that all Chinese change their age at the same time, rather than on their birthday. To celebrate, we had Yu Sheng again!

Weekend is OVER!

Lo-Ah Lo-Ah Huat Ah! Chinese New year is a time for gathering & paying respects to the elders. It was also our first CNY spent without Daddy. The weekend is over in a glance, it was FUN + TIRING + REWARDING! Celeste was quite well behaved through out.

Went out at 9.30am again and back at 4pm. Not so tired today and its fun too!

Tired..

2nd Day of Lunar New Year - just tired. We went out as early as 9.30am and only came back at dinner time. The children were especially tired, Celeste ate alot of the new year goodies and juices, its kinda out of control for her.

Zen treats the oranges as balls, its good to use them to keep him occupied.

I can see Zenith's personality emerging somehow. He seems to be more introverted - more like daddy being quiet.. More to be observed :-)

Zenith started to cruise - moving around upright while holding onto his cot - he is still learning to get more confident.
