Painting

One week had passed, we are coping fine. Kids are behaving well especially Celeste. At times when i raise my voice at Zenith, Celeste will ask me not to shout at him but talk nicely to him instead :p I must admit i'm pretty harsh with the kids, i have no choice when i have to handle 2 myself most of the time.
Letting them do some painting to occupy their time. Here's their little art fun :)

One weekend

Just one weekend and i seem to be drained.. hahah.. not that the children were naughty but children being children. They need to be looked after 24/7. Maybe its a better idea to get back to work on Mon!!

Alicia's House

After ballet, i drove down to Alicia's house for the kids to play with Megan, that's her little dog by the way. The kids are not really exposed to dogs/cats because i myself don't have love for pets. Celeste was OK to touch Megan a few times until the dog was let loose in the house, that intimidated them alittle. Then Alicia decided to keep the dogs (there are 2) in the room while we all chatted freely in the house. The kids love Alicia's house because there's so much tit bits to munch on.. :p And because i hardly meet up with Joyce/Alicia, Celeste asked me if they are my new friends? Hee...

Waiting

We sent Celeste for ballet class and left me and Zen waiting for her outside. Boring.. I cant even sit down and relax with Zen around..

Tired

Brought the children to join Popo/Yi ma for dinner @ Ashton/Sembawang Shopping Centre. By the time I'm back home, I'm exhausted! Hahha. its been a tiring but happy Saturday! Celeste has become more obedient these few days, she gives in to Zenith when asked to, throws less tantrums & also more thoughtful.
Tonight, when Zenith fell asleep on the way home, i had to carry him at the same time unload my stuff from the car. Celeste was really thoughtful to have taken out Zenith's shoes in the car so i could just carry him straight up to his bed. That was sweet :)

22nd Aug

I just had a wonderful Saturday afternoon, managed to catch up alittle with Joyce over lunch/ice-cream together with the kids. The toys that Auntie Joyce bought them made them so happy too! It was also my first time driving to Vivo City myself, i always day dreamed when Mark was the one driving. I didn't have the confidence of the direction to and fro. Finally i decided i have to do it & get out of my comfort zone! It was a smooth ride!

And i met Justin, my good old friend together with his family at Vivo, sitting at the table where we just left! Great minds think alike! He's still as humorous as before!

Steady!

The children were quite well behaved, i managed to find some time to do some cleaning without the help of any part time cleaner. The cost saving can contribute to part of our airfare to Australia!

We need a Man @ Home

Yeye said he rejected invitation to play majong on Fri nights & also Genting trip this month because... Hubby is away & we need to have a man at home! How nice of him :)

Lizard!

The children woke me up at 7plus by shouting across the room, Mummy Lizard! Both of them shouted very loud! I ran over to the kids room and found the lizard on the ceiling. Its beyond my reach & I'm afraid to catch it too. I shouted for Father! using exactly the same word, Lizard! Hahha. Father came up & went down again to prepare his apparatus & took a long time to come up. The lizard is gone!!

Off to Sydney

Sad i may be, i still have to face it. It happens all the time for the past 2 years, but i still get upset each time knowing hubby won't be around with us for the next 2 months. Lonely us :( I will keep myself & the kids entertained & occupied!

19 Aug

Mark's flying off tonight, MIL got hospitalised last evening, no more home cooked dinner in the near future, we still have many errands to run before hubby flies off tonight...Celeste's been asking for grandma even though its only the 1st night, she wants to talk to Grandma. I told her Grandma's in hospital, she's sick. Celeste said she didn't make grandma angry, she didn't make her have headache.. :O

Worrying makes it worse

how worry, panic, depression, and other negative thinking actually makes things worse (a lot worse!)...and why it's so important to do what you can to think positively, even in the most difficult situation!

Gong Gong's 60th Birthday

Together with Uncle Lam's 52th Birthday.

Make your own bag

its quite simple, just cut off the narrow side of the cereal box, punch two holes on the side of the box & put strings across. Thats it!

Angry with Daddy

Celeste said she's angry with daddy, i asked her why, she said because Daddy didn't come back early. I reasoned out with her that Daddy's busy working to provide for all of us. When she didn't see him for 2 mornings, she cried for Daddy that he didn't hug her before he leaves for work. I wonder how is she going to accept not seeing Daddy for 60 odd days morning and night when Daddy's away....

Supercharge Your Life Now

I came across this article which i thought its good to share, ultimately its all in our mind...

>> Seize financial opportunities: Wealth and riches can be yours when you use success programming to discover opportunity, motivate yourself to take action, and engage your internal courage engine to overcome fear and trepidation.

The News is Out

Mark's leaving for Sydney for 2+ months on 22nd Aug, its time of the year again. I reckon its going to be more difficult & tiring this time because Cecile is no longer with us and Celeste is big enough to know Daddy's away :(

Mark's going to miss celebrating Celeste's 4th Birthday :o

Cousins Trip to the Zoo

It was a perfect day to be at the Zoo today, the weather was just great! Not hot & no fuss! Crowd on the 10th Aug was just nice too, not too packed. Its a wonderful experience for the cousins to go on an outing together and we're looking forward to more of these outings again.
I specially like this family photo taken together on the tram, that we each bought a picture at $15 each.

Jae's 1st Birthday Bash

Old Pic

This was taken when Celeste was 4 months old when we attended Kim's wedding. OMG! Daddy was still so slim then!

Ouch!

Celeste's always so clumsy! It either some trip over or spilling water. She bumped her forehead against the wooden door edge just because she was excited over drinking a packet of Milo at Popo's house! It was a bad bump, it swelled & she cried very badly. She asked for Daddy & she wanted to go home :p It was 3 years ago when Celeste just started walking and she had a huge bump on her head too.

Overnight!

After our dinner, we rushed over to Popo's house with the intention to stay overnight, that was at 8 plus. Celeste brought her personal luggage along and it was big enough to put Zen & my stuff in as well, after all its only 1N stay :) The children were pretty excited even though its just going over to Popo's house, how i wish its some holiday instead :p

Kite Roadshow

Such a disappointment, we couldn't make it to Little O'zone together with the rest because Celeste was alittle unwell and i didn't want her to spread the germs to them. After our lunch, we headed straight down to Raffles City for the kite roadshow instead. The children had hands on with Daddy's help on making a simple kite. Its a simple affair :)

Cute Little Chocolates

$0.95 each, i find it quite expensive considering its only a little piece of chocolate. But i still got them coz they look so pretty and that will make the children happy!

Daddy's Girl

Celeste has been quite a good girl without Daddy around. Mark has been pretty busy with work the whole of this week, leaving the house at 7am and coming back only after 9pm. He's off to work today too and its our weekend! So i have been spending more time with the kids alone, sending/picking them up from school and entertaining them in the evening before i tuck them to bed by 9pm. I seen the change in Celeste's behavior, being less demanding when Daddy's not around. But as she grows older and more aware of the happenings around her, she's also feeling the absence of Daddy now. This is probably a good time to train all of us when Mark needs to work overseas for 2 mths and its going to be pretty soon! Zenith on the contrary, is quite mischievous. He likes to irritate or rather disturb his sister frequently and wants to be given in all time. It might have been a result of giving in to him all the time just because he's the younger of the siblings and that has become his expectation.

Sulking

Grandma giving Zenith a lecture.

He's still feeling unhappy even after grandma goes off. Ok, he's not in a mood to pose for photos now.

New Bags!

Got the children new sling bags from the Pasa Malam :) I have been wanting to get Zenith a little bag since his only bag is his big school bag which he uses everyday. I was still deciding between the sling or backpack, finally decided on a sling for him! The sling fits his little shoulders perfectly since it doesnt slide off so easily.
